Manish Garg as a Speaker on Nephrology
06/15/2010 The June session of Top Ten Clinical Pearls: Year in Review features a presentation by H. Ismail, M.D., on Pulmonology on June 15, from noon to 1 p.m., at St. Francis Hospital Conference Center, Room 136. A buffet lunch precedes the event at 11:30 p.m. The July session on the topic of Nephrology Clinical Pearls features Manish Garg, M.D., and takes place on July 20, from 7 to 8 p.m., at Milford Memorial Hospital. A buffet dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. Joint sponsors of the monthly lecture series are The Delaware Academy of Medicine and the Delaware Academy of Family Physicians. The lectures aim to keep primary care physicians current in the face of content change in specialty disciplines. It is also an opportunity to increase interaction among physicians in a collegial and informal setting. The program features regional speakers who present up-to-date research studies and medical interventions on selected topics. Lectures occur each month, except in August and December. Conference sites include hospitals in New Castle, Kent and Sussex Counties. The series offers AAFP prescribed credit. While the intended audience is primary care physician, professionals with other educational backgrounds are welcome to attend. Advance registration is required at The Delaware Academy of Medicine. Cost to attend is $20 for members of The Delaware Academy of Family Physicians and the Delaware Academy of Medicine. Non-members pay $25. There is no cost for residents. |
