Cath Lab Surgical Technician
Summary:
The Cath Lab Surgical Technician is responsible for providing support to the surgeon in the context of the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
Essential Functions:
Demonstrate a complete working knowledge of all equipment within the CATH lab. Maintains a knowledge of sterile supplies and techniques utilized for procedures in the CATH lab.
Assists physician with scrub duties utilizing sterile technique to prevent cross-contamination, set-up trays and prepare and position patient.
Assists physician in documenting the case, balancing calibration and operating physiologic recorder and calculates and reports patient information from data gathered in the cardiac cath lab.

Prepare and administer contrast media or medications under supervision of the Cardiologist.

Monday through Friday
No weekends, holidays, or on-call
Typical shift will be 7:00am-3:30pm
Occasional need for 8:30am-5:00pm
